Joanne M. Cherisma is a Haitian born writer. In "I Never Thought I Would Be A Statistic" she shared her testimony of how she overcame an abusive marriage. She created Beyond the Abuse, Inc. in 2016 in order to bring awareness on abusive relationship and provide hope, empowerment, support and confidence to the victims. Joanne writes poetic prose that speaks to the hearts of many. Joanne uses her writing as an outlet and voice for those who can understand the slings and arrows of life.

Blaque Diamond

Blaque Diamond is the C.E.O. of Blaque Diamond Enterprise. Her book "Stacey F. children's book series" on foster care and adoption garnered her several book awards, including the 2017 Indie Author Legacy Awards Community Champion Legendary Honoree. She earned her MSW degree from Morgan State University School of Social Work. She's a Certified Parent Coach and an advocate for children waiting for reunification. She co-writes "Open Your G.I.F.T.S. vol II" with actress-comedian Kim Coles.

Judene Chung

Judene Chung published "JET the Fish" with her daughter. It is a rhythmic and engaging story, of a fish who dreams of swimming as fast as a jet. Despite his initial physical limitations, Jet's determination and wishful thinking lead to a magical transformation. This book not only entertains but also encourages children to believe in themselves and their abilities to overcome challenges.

Tablecloth Bakery

"Something For Every Sweet Tooth, Craving and Guilty Pleasure" Tablecloth Bakery founded by sisters Kesi & Olisa, blends the warmth of family tradition with the flavors of their Antiguan heritage & upbringing in the Bronx. Each product is a celebration of tradition, innovation, & the sweet taste of home, made to be savored for the year to come.

Nkenge N. Wiggins

Nkenge N. Wiggins was born and raised in Brownsville Brooklyn. At a very young age she had a great love for dance , performing arts , theater ,TV, film music videos and fashion. She started repurposing her clothing at the age 10 years old. In the summer her dance group would perform at neighborhood block parties as well as local talent showcases . She would create concepts and design costumes for her groups performances to go along with the musical theme. Nkenge is a self taught seamstress.
